The objectives of the Chair |
The Chair of Champagne Management has a dual academic purpose:
- 1. To develop a research programme relating to the champagne industry worldwide, targeted primarily on some of the key areas of business management.
- 2. To offer a teaching resource to support the development of the champagne industry, and to offer Reims Management School specific teaching expertise in the field of wine and champagne management, for the benefit of their students.
The Chair has been created to add value both to the work of the champagne industry as it adapts to a constantly change world wine environment, and to the goals of Reims Management School, enabling it to offer its student body and partner organisations a distinctive speciality and a particular international visibility.
In addition the Chair works with other researchers around the world to stimulate studies in wine business, and specifically in the business of managing and distributing champagne. |
